SUMMARY:New Wall Build Workshop\, Strathroy
DESCRIPTION:The site is at A.M (Mac) Cuddy Gardens in Strathroy\, Ontario. \n\n\n\nThere is a wall that has been built of the past few years as part of the Fanshawe College Horticulture Program. We will be extending a new section of the wall. \n\n\n\nThis two-day workshop is suitable for beginners. No tools are required. \n\n\n\nOur Host\n\n\n\nThe A.M. (Mac) Cuddy Gardens\, owned by Fanshawe College and managed by the Horticulture Program\, feature one of the largest collections of plants in Ontario. Over two thousand species are displayed in dry\, rock\, woodland\, perennial\, rose and aquatic gardens. SUMMARY:Stone Cutting & Shaping Workshop\, Strathroy
DESCRIPTION:The site is at A.M (Mac) Cuddy Gardens in Strathroy\, Ontario. \n\n\n\nThis workshop is an intermediate skill level. It is designed to teach participants how to shape stone for specific uses (a cheekend for example). Learn how to bone in\, drop lumps and bumps\, remove twist\, cut a tidy corner.  \n\n\n\nThis two-day workshop is not suitable for beginners. Prerequisite is to have taken at least one of our workshops and/or you have your level 1\, and you are used to working with stone. Tools required are a stone hammer\, a mallet\, a point\, 1” or 2″ tracer\, and a square. \n\n\n\nMost of the time will be spent learning to shape stone. Work from a bankers table (provided). Maximum number of participants is 6. \n\n\n\nOur Host\n\n\n\nThe A.M.
